Sti gjennom lys furuskog, der duften av varme barnåler og stillheten mellom trærne gir en rolig naturopplevelse. Furublomsten er Evje og Hornnes kommuneblomst, og er et vanlig treslag på de sandrike furumoene dalbunnen.

The pine flower is the official municipal flower of Evje og Hornnes, and pine is a common tree species on the sandy pine heaths of the valley floor.
Setesdal offers a wide variety of beautiful hiking opportunities – from peaceful forest walks to longer hikes across heaths and mountain terrain. Many of the trails are well marked and accessible, making it easy for both young and old to find hikes that suit them.
